Executive Accountant

As an Executive in the Accounting Department, your primary responsibilities will include managing the month-end closing process. This involves handling tasks such as bank reconciliations, journal entries, and the preparation of financial statements. Your role will also require you to analyze financial data and generate reports to support management decision-making. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing tax provisions and working on the periodic tax filing process in compliance with Indian tax regulations, including the Income Tax Act, GST, and TDS. It is essential to maintain a strong understanding of Indian accounting principles, particularly Ind AS, and ensure adherence to all relevant regulations. You will also participate in internal control procedures to safeguard financial assets and provide troubleshooting and suggestive actions in coordination with the Head of Accounting. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of accounting, preferably in the Manufacturing or Trading industry. A Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a similar field is required for this position. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers benefits such as leave encashment, paid sick time, paid time off, and the option to work from home.
