Job Title: Senior Kubernetes Developer Location: On-Site (Gurugram) Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 7+ Years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Kubernetes Developer with 7+ years of experience in container orchestration, cloud-native application development, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture and development, and a solid understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and distributed systems. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing scalable Kubernetes-based infrastructure and applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure and microservices architecture. Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and deploy them via Kubernetes. Develop custom Kubernetes controllers/operators using Go or Python as needed. Implement CI/CD pipelines integrated with Kubernetes for automated testing and deployment. Collaborate with DevOps and cloud infrastructure teams to ensure secure and scalable solutions. Troubleshoot and optimize performance, availability, and reliability of Kubernetes clusters. Monitor cluster health and implement observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.). Ensure best practices around Kubernetes security, networking, and configuration management. Contribute to internal documentation, design reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in software development or infrastructure engineering. Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments. Proficiency with container technologies (Docker) and Kubernetes orchestration. Experience with Helm, Kustomize, and Kubernetes Operators. Strong knowledge of Linux systems and shell scripting. Experience in at least one programming language (Go, Python, or Java preferred). Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible. Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Understanding of service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and ingress controllers (NGINX, Traefik). Preferred Qualifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD). Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux). Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security hardening. Exposure to event-driven architectures and message brokers (Kafka, NATS).
