Senior Java Developer

At GammaStack, we work on innovative, scalable, and high-performance solutions for global clients. We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who is passionate about coding, architecture, and problem-solving, and can contribute to building robust enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable backend services using Java (17+) and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Implement and manage event-driven architecture using Kafka and/or messaging queues such as RabbitMQ
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases like Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB ensuring optimized performance and scalability
• Integrate backend services with cloud environments (AWS / GCP)
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers
• Collaborate with frontend teams (VueJS, NuxtJS) for seamless integration of APIs
• Manage build and dependency tools such as Maven and Gradle

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with Java (17+) and Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of Hibernate, JDBC, and ORM concepts
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and/or RabbitMQ
• Experience in AWS / GCP cloud environments
• Good knowledge of Postgres/MySQL and MongoDB
• Experience with build tools (Maven, Gradle)
• Exposure to frontend frameworks like VueJS or NuxtJS is a big plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills, debugging abilities, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience in microservices architecture
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Pay: ₹452,274.59 - ₹1,743,619.83 per year
