Senior Java Developer

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable backend services using Java (17+) and Spring Boot. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Additionally, you will implement and manage event-driven architecture using Kafka and/or messaging queues such as RabbitMQ. Your role will involve working with relational and NoSQL databases like Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB to ensure optimized performance and scalability. Integration of backend services with cloud environments (AWS / GCP) will also be part of your responsibilities. You are expected to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. Optimizing application performance, troubleshooting production issues, and participating in code reviews to provide constructive feedback are key aspects of your role. Mentoring junior developers and collaborating with frontend teams (VueJS, NuxtJS) for seamless integration of APIs is crucial for the success of the projects. In terms of skills and experience, you should have at least 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with Java (17+) and Spring Boot. A strong understanding of Hibernate, JDBC, and ORM concepts is required. Hands-on experience with Kafka and/or RabbitMQ, as well as exposure to AWS / GCP cloud environments, is essential. Good knowledge of Postgres/MySQL and MongoDB, experience with build tools like Maven and Gradle, and familiarity with frontend frameworks like VueJS or NuxtJS are highly valued. Excellent problem-solving skills, debugging abilities, and communication skills are necessary for this role. You should also be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Immediate joiners are preferred. Nice to have skills include experience in microservices architecture, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools, and familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
