Senior Java Developer

Position Overview:-

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong leadership skills to join our development team. This position will require not only deep technical expertise in Java but also the ability to manage and guide a development team, oversee resource budgeting, handle deployment processes, ensure security adherence, and work closely with clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in Agile methodologies, project management, team coordination, and a proactive approach to code quality and security.

Roles and Responsibility:-

• Lead a development team, ensuring optimal performance and delivery of tasks within the agreed timelines.
• Oversee resource budgeting and allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements.
• Ensure execution of plans, track progress, and adjust the strategy as needed to achieve project goals.
• Conduct peer reviews of code, ensuring that best practices and coding standards are followed by the team.
• Perform both automated and manual code checks to ensure code quality, stability, and performance.
• Apply Agile development practices, including Scrum ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Utilize tools like Jira and Confluence to track progress, document requirements, and manage projects.
• Participate in the creation and management of Project Charters and ensure timely delivery of all milestones and sprint goals
• Oversee the deployment of applications across different stages (development, staging, production).
• Manage deployment pipelines, ensuring healthy deployments and minimal downtime.
• Introduce automation tools to streamline deployments and ensure a more efficient process for the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues as they arise, ensuring the reliability of the deployed applications.
• Implement secure coding practices and ensure that all code adheres to security best practices.
