Senior Java Backend Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable microservices, designing RESTful APIs, and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and adherence to coding best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong programming skills in Java and experience with Spring Boot.
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong experience with Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
• Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and writing unit and integration tests.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Work extensively with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.) to design and deploy cloud-native components.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with strong emphasis on unit testing and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure performance, availability, and reliability of backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture planning.
