Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead interior design

projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for

designing functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces while managing client relationships and

coordinating with contractors and vendors. The role requires strong design expertise, project

management skills, and the ability to mentor junior designers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and

budget.

• Develop innovative interior design concepts, including space planning, colour

schemes, materials, and finishes.

• Prepare detailed design plans, drawings, and 3D models using CAD and visualization

software.

• Lead and manage design projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design

specifications are met.

• Supervise and mentor junior interior designers and support staff.

• Present design proposals and solutions to clients, incorporating their feedback

throughout the project.

• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies to continually

enhance design quality.

• Oversee procurement of furniture, fixtures, and other design elements.

• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and client requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years or above of professional experience in interior design roles.

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, or similar.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of completed design projects.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively within a team.

• Knowledge of current building codes, safety regulations, and sustainable design

principles is a plus.
