Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Instrumentation Engineer with strong experience in SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) and related tools to support onshore and offshore oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background working in EPC environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage instrumentation deliverables using SPI (Instrument Index, Data Sheets, I/O Lists, Loop Diagrams, etc.).
• Design and specify field instrumentation, control valves, and analyzers.
• Prepare technical documentation including material requisitions, vendor data reviews, and engineering calculations.
• Review P&IDs, hook-up drawings, and control philosophies.
• Coordinate with process, electrical, and control systems teams for integrated design.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications and international standards (IEC, ISA).
• Support procurement, construction, and commissioning teams with technical input.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Control Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in instrumentation engineering within the oil & gas industry.
• Proficiency in SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) and familiarity with other design tools like AutoCAD, InTools, or AVEVA Instrumentation.
• Experience in both onshore and offshore projects.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation design standards and best practices.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work experience with EPC companies such as Worley, KBR, Technip, McDermott, Wood, or equivalent.
• Experience with brownfield modifications and integration projects.
• Familiarity with control system integration and hazardous area classification.
