Description
As a Business Development Manager at COWRKS, your role will involve growing membership across start-ups, small & medium-sized businesses, and large Enterprises, while supporting the COWRKS brand and community. Your key responsibilities will include: - Meeting or exceeding COWRKS growth targets in the market by leading and scaling business effectively - Developing and implementing standard methodologies to improve lead generation, prospecting, pipeline creation, and conversion rates - Building key relationships with Founders, CXO's, Corporate Heads of Real Estate, CFOs, Heads of HR, and other business leaders - Understanding workspace needs, business performance, and expansion plans of potential clients to demonstrate the value proposition of COWRKS - Exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for the market - Developing relationships with Decision Makers & Influencers of Large Enterprises, including Fortune 500s, Venture Capitalists, and Technology companies - Identifying and addressing the needs of decision-makers, influencers, and user groups differently - Developing proposals and articulating COWRKS value proposition at the executive level - Motivating a city revenue team, providing coaching, and support to achieve targets and performance metrics - Participating in prospect meetings, engaging corporate resources, and ensuring operational excellence in day-to-day management In addition to the core work activities, you will also need to possess the following skills: - Entrepreneurial mindset - Ability to build and develop relationships - Team-building skills - Strong negotiation skills - Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills - Ability to perform under stress - High Emotional Quotient - Result-oriented approach - Experience with conflict management - Experience with longer sales cycles and consultative selling Your behavioral attributes should include: - Being a self-starter with the ability to act autonomously - Demonstrated understanding of business and commercial acumen - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Personal drive, integrity, and outcome orientation - Ability to achieve results, implement change, and manage complex issues simultaneously - Confident decision-making skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively - Proven planning and organization skills As a candidate for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience, along with 12+ years of work experience. Strong customer service focus, client relationship management, and experience in commercial/office or capital markets leasing are essential. Familiarity with Enterprise/SaaS Sales tools or CRM tools will be advantageous for this position.,
