Senior Finance Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Lead and manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure

alignment with business goals.

2. Prepare timely and accurate financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash

Flow Statements.

3. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to GST, Income Tax, Factory Act,

Labour Laws, and other applicable regulations.

4. Monitor and analyse cost structures related to manufacturing operations, suggest costsaving

measures, and drive operational efficiency.

5. Manage working capital, vendor payments, customer invoicing, and internal financial

controls.

6. Coordinate internal and statutory audits and act as a single point of contact for auditors.

7. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management for

business decision-making.

8. Maintain strong financial governance and ensure proper documentation of financial

transactions.

9. Supervise and develop a team of finance and accounts professionals.

10. Drive process improvements in accounting and financial workflows to improve efficiency and

accuracy.

11. Oversee asset management, including fixed asset register, depreciation calculation, and

reconciliations.

12. Monitor cash flow and working capital position to optimize business liquidity.

13. Support project evaluation and investment decisions by performing financial feasibility

studies and ROI analysis.

Preferred candidate profile

1. 10 to 20 years of proven experience as a Finance Manager in the Manufacturing or

Engineering industry.

2. Strong knowledge of industry-specific financial practices and statutory compliance

requirements.

3. Hands-on experience in Cost Accounting, MIS Reporting, and Financial Analysis.

4. Expertise in working with ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar).

5. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

6. Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

7. MBA (Finance) preferred.
