Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Front Desk Receptionist located in Kochi. The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for phone etiquette, receptionist duties, clerical tasks, communication with customers, ticketing and travel scheduling, basic Office Administration duties and providing excellent customer service on a daily basis. As we will have a considerable amount of international guest visits, the candidate is expected to have good etiquettes and a balanced character along with exceptional English language skills Preference given to Female Candidates. We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team and drive our financial strategy to new heights. JOB SUMMARY: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company. This role demands a strategic leader who can manage and optimize our financial performance, ensure robust compliance, and provide critical insights to support our ambitious growth plans. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the import/export industry, a deep understanding of foreign exchange (FOREX) management, and a proven track record in a high-turnover environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with its long-term business goals. Lead the annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-range planning processes. Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO, MD, and board of directors based on financial analysis, projections, and market trends. Drive initiatives for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and improved profitability. 2. Financial Operations & Control: Oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure the company has the necessary liquidity to meet its obligations. 3. Treasury & FOREX Management: Develop and implement sophisticated FOREX hedging and management strategies to mitigate currency risk associated with our international trade operations. Manage banking relationships, debt financing, and credit facilities. Optimize the company's capital structure and oversee investment activities. 4. Compliance, Audit & Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with all statutory financial regulations, including company law, taxation (direct and indirect), and import/export laws. Lead the relationship with our statutory and internal auditors, ensuring seamless and efficient audit processes. Identify and mitigate key financial risks facing the company. 5. Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the finance department and across the organization. Ideal Candidate Profile: Basic Requirements: Qualification: A qualified Chartered Accountant (FCA) or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CIMA). Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in senior financial leadership roles. Location: Willingness to work full-time from our Head Office in Panangad, Kochi. Ideal Requirements & Expertise: Industry Experience: Demonstrable experience in the import and export industry is essential. Company Scale: Proven experience working in a company with an annual turnover of at least ₹500 crore. FOREX Expertise: Deep, hands-on expertise in managing foreign exchange exposure, including hedging instruments and strategies.
