Senior Finance Executive

This role will be based in the Branch located in GIFT City, India, and reports to the Finance Manager and Head of Finance in the Head Office based in Singapore.

Specific Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and accurate financial and regulatory reporting (as per International Financial Services Centers Authority (“IFSCA”) directives) for the India branch
• Active collaboration with management and both internal and external stakeholders, such as auditors and regulatory authorities;
• Manage continuous improvement initiatives of financial and regulatory reports, including retention of supporting documentation, and, where necessary, remediation;
• Any other ad-hoc assignments and projects

Requirements:

• ACAC, CA, CPA Qualified and/or relevant professional qualifications
• 5 to 7 years’ relevant work experience with an insurer, preferably in the reinsurance industry
• Sound technical competencies in IFRS and insurance accounting principles
• Strong knowledge and experience in reporting under IFSCA or Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority, regulatory reporting experience in a (re)insurance company in India would be advantageous
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Working proficiency in English
• Experience working with GL systems is desirable
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, attention to detail and a good team player
