Job Description: Senior Fashion Designer (Head Designer)

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Fashion Designer to join our team as the Head Designer. The ideal candidate will lead our design department, driving the creative vision from concept to creation. This role requires expertise in color and strength analysis, illustration, and surface design. You will coordinate closely with the production team to ensure a smooth design process and create collections that reflect our brand's essence.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Lead Designer:** Serve as the head designer, overseeing the entire design process from initial concept to final production.

- **Color and Trend Analysis:** Conduct thorough color and Trend analyses to inform design decisions.

- **Illustration and Surface Design:** Utilize your skills as an illustrator to develop detailed design concepts and surface patterns ,surface developments

- **Collection Development:** Create couture collections and derive sub-collections, including cocktail and semi-bridal ranges, pret ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive design offering.

- **Menswear Inclusion:** Design inclusive collections that feature both womenswear and menswear.

- **Coordination:** Work closely with the production team to ensure seamless integration of design and manufacturing processes.

- **Brand Communication:** Explain the vision and essence of the collections to the PR and branding teams to ensure consistent brand representation.

- **Innovation:** Continuously seek new design solutions and stay abreast of industry trends to keep our offerings fresh and competitive.

Required Skills:

- **Illustration:** Proficiency in fashion illustration.

- **Branding:** Basic knowledge of branding and how it applies to fashion design.

- **Surface Development:** Expertise in surface design and print development.

- **Software Proficiency:** Skilled in design software such as AutoCAD, Procreate, or similar tools.

- **Design Detail:** Keen attention to design detail and craftsmanship.

- **Merchandising:** Understanding of merchandising principles and practices.

- **Sketching:** sketching abilities to convey design ideas effectively.

Qualifications:

- **Experience:** Proven experience as a Senior Fashion Designer or similar role.

- **Education:** Degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred.

- **Portfolio:** A compelling portfolio that showcases a range of design projects, including couture and ready-to-wear collections.

- **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
