Dennison is a modern men’s fashion brand blending Indian heritage, craftsmanship and storytelling with global silhouettes for Gen Z and millennial consumers across online and offline channels.

## Role Overview  

Dennison is looking for a Senior Fashion Designer with 8+ years of experience in men’s knits and wovens who can independently create concepts, build full collections , and drive product from idea to production while partnering closely with merchandising, production and marketing.

## Key Responsibilities  

### Concept, Trends & Collection Building  

- Create seasonal concepts, moodboards and stories from scratch and translate them into cohesive menswear collections across T‑shirts, shirts, trousers and denim.

- Research and interpret global and local trends, street culture and competitor brands, adapting them for Gen Z and millennial consumers in the mass and mass‑premium space.

- Blend heritage, culture, crafts and regional fashion with global aesthetics to create differentiated, scalable products true to Dennison’s brand philosophy.

### Design, Graphics & Fabric Understanding  

- Design original styles in knits and wovens with strong command over graphics, prints, typography, washes and surface treatments for T‑shirts, shirts, trousers and denim.

- Develop detailed flats, CADs and colorways that clearly communicate design intent to merchandising, production and vendors.

- Select fabrics and define silhouettes with a deep understanding of drape, fall, weight and behavior of different knit and woven constructions.

### Tech Packs, Sampling & Costing  

- Create complete, accurate tech packs including measurements, construction details, trims, artwork placements, washes and finishing guidelines.

- Coordinate closely with merchandising and production teams to develop proto, fit and PPS samples within target cost, quality and timelines.

- Engineer design details to achieve the right balance of aesthetics, functionality, quality and margin for Dennison’s price architecture.

### Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Storytelling  

- Work hand‑in‑hand with the merchandising team on range planning, line depth, pricing and market needs.

- Liaise with production and vendor partners to troubleshoot fit, construction and feasibility issues and ensure smooth bulk execution.

- Collaborate with the marketing and content team to shape the design narrative, campaign ideas, key product stories and styling direction for shoots and launches.

## Desired Profile  

### Experience & Expertise  

- 8+ years of hands‑on experience in men’s fashion, specifically across knits and wovens (T‑shirts, shirts, trousers, denim).

- Proven track record of building complete collections end‑to‑end, not just single designs, ideally in youth‑centric or D2C / retail brands.

- Strong portfolio showcasing graphics, prints, silhouettes and commercially successful products.

### Skills & Mindset  

- Strong command of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and other design tools, with high attention to detail in tech packs and specs.

- Deep understanding of garment construction, fit, grading, costing and production realities.

- Creative yet commercial thinker who understands both storytelling and numbers, with curiosity for heritage, culture, craftsmanship and global trends.

- High ownership, ability to work independently, and comfort in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment with direct interaction with founders and cross‑functional teams..
