Senior Executive – SCM

Key Responsibilities:

1. Export Supplier Base Management

• Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors in line with export quality and compliance standards.
  
• Execute sourcing strategies and maintain the exports supplier panel.
  

2. New Product Development (NPD)

• Work with North India-based vendors for bicycle and fitness component development.
  
• Develop parts as per TI drawings/samples and provide technical support to vendors.
  
• Negotiate costs with suppliers and coordinate with the costing team for PO (Purchase Order) releases.
  

3. Procurement / Buying

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure material delivery within 5 working days of ASN (Advance Shipping Notice) release.
  
• Liaise with internal teams – Product Development, Costing, Planning, and Quality – to ensure timely release and delivery.
  
• Manage and coordinate PDI (Pre-Dispatch Inspection) processes, including oversight of the inspector at Ludhiana.
  

4. Logistics & Material Movement

• Coordinate with the logistics team for efficient and timely movement of goods.
  

5. Alternate Sourcing & Cost Optimization

• Identify opportunities for cost savings through alternate sourcing.
  
• Work with the supplier quality team to implement CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
  
• Initiate alternate source development in case of quality or supply failures.
  

6. Process Improvement at Supplier End

• Follow up on supplier audit points and ensure corrective actions.
  
• Support suppliers in aligning with export standards and driving process improvement initiatives.
  
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through process enhancement.

• Knowledge of export documentation and compliance (preferred)
