Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Health & Safety Risk Management

Assist in identifying and assessing organizational health and safety risks, contributing to the development of control measures.
Support the execution of HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) and JSA (Job Safety Analysis) processes.
Participate in site visits to monitor and address safety issues under guidance from senior safety officers.

Regulatory Compliance & Emergency Preparedness

Assist in ensuring compliance with statutory health and safety requirements and support obtaining necessary approvals.
Help in maintaining the IMS system and contribute to efforts toward ISO 45001 certification.
Participate in emergency preparedness activities, including mock drills and safety audits.

Audits & Documentation

Support the documentation and preparation for internal and external safety audits.
Maintain safety records, ensuring accuracy and readiness for review.
Contribute to identifying and documenting areas for improvement during audits.HS

Training & Incident Support

Assist in conducting safety training sessions and help raise awareness of safety protocols across the organization.
Support accident and incident investigations by gathering information and assisting with corrective action plans.
Learn and develop knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) practices, assisting in driving safety culture within SCIL.

Workplace Safety:

Understand and comply with all safety regulations, policies & procedures relevant to the workplace environment.
Participate in safety training sessions & promptly report any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate authority at the workplace.
