Job Description

Position Overview

The Pricing Department is responsible for ensuring the timely execution of all pricing-related activities, managing and guiding the pricing team, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of price updates. This role involves proactive coordination, issue resolution, vendor communication, and efficient task allocation to optimize team performance and meet organizational pricing objectives.

Responsibilities

1. Task Management & Timely Execution

· Ensure completion of all pricing-related tasks within defined deadlines.

· Create and maintain task calendars, schedules, and reminders to ensure timely execution of future-dated activities.

2. Team Leadership & Allocation

· Allocate tasks to team members based on their skills and expertise.

· Monitor task progress and ensure all assigned work is completed accurately and on time.

3. Guidance & Support

· Provide guidance, support, and problem-solving assistance to team members whenever required.

· Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

4. Price Updates & Accuracy

· Ensure all price-related updates are promptly and accurately implemented as per applicable timelines.

· Investigate pricing discrepancies reported by other departments, vendors, or systems, and provide clear reasons and corrective actions.

5. Vendor Communication & Escalations

· Escalate and follow up with vendors regarding excess charges reflected on invoices via email or other official communication channels.

· Maintain proper documentation of all communication and resolutions.

6. Process Compliance & Improvement

· Adhere to company policies, pricing guidelines, and process standards.

· Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance pricing accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Economics, or related field

2. 2-3 years of experience in pricing, supply chain, or related domain

3. Prior experience in leading a team preferred.
