Job Description

Responsibilities

Assist in the end-to-end reconciliation of GST input credits for motor insurance claims.
Collaborate with the finance team to support GST input credit reconciliation processes.
Ensure accurate and timely matching of GST credits against motor claims.
Work with internal departments to help resolve discrepancies in GST input credit data.
Support process improvements and address reconciliation variances.
Conduct user acceptance testing for system controls jointly with the finance team to streamline GST credit management.
Regularly analyse and identify discrepancies in GST credits.
Prepare reports on reconciliation status, input credit utilization, and potential areas for optimization.
Follow up with all stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues and effective communication.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of GST regulations, tax filing, and reconciliation processes.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
