Job Description Role Summary:
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Indirect Tax (IDT) to join our team. The role primarily involves handling GST compliance, advisory, litigation support, and departmental coordination. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in managing GST returns, reconciliations, audits, and a strong understanding of GST law and rules. Key Responsibilities:
Handling end-to-end GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C, and input tax credit reconciliations. Assisting in GST audits, assessments, and departmental queries. Preparing detailed GST workings and reconciliations with books of accounts. Supporting the team in drafting replies to notices, appeals, and other legal representations. Conducting GST impact analysis and advisory support on various business transactions. Assisting with client onboarding, documentation, and registration under GST. Independently handling client queries and providing timely solutions related to GST matters. Coordinating with clients, internal teams, and consultants for smooth execution of tasks. Skills & Attributes for Success:
Sound understanding of GST law and compliance requirements. Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally/ERP, and data analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Good written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated and a strong team player. Preferred Skills:
Working knowledge of GST returns, input tax credit rules, RCM, and e-invoicing.
