Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Statutory Compliance

Ensure adherence to all labor laws and statutory requirements ( ESIC, PF, CLRA, Factory Act, etc.)
Liaise with government authorities and manage audits, inspections, and returns.
Maintain updated compliance records for contractors and vendors.
Monitor contract labor licenses, renewals, and registrations.

2. Contractor Workforce Management

Source and onboard contractors and manpower service providers based on workforce planning.
Manage end-to-end contract labor lifecycle from requirement generation to deployment and exit formalities.
Ensure contractor compliance in terms of wages, working conditions, PF/ESIC, and safety norms.
Conduct contractor audits to ensure adherence to VRKP and AIFPL standards.

3. Vendor Management

Evaluate and empanel manpower vendors through a robust screening process.
Draft and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with vendors.
Monitor vendor performance against KPIs related to TAT, compliance, and quality of manpower.

4. Employee & Labor Relations

Act as the point of contact for contractor grievances and coordinate resolution.
Promote harmonious industrial relations by regular engagement with contract workforce supervisors.
Conduct periodic awareness sessions on compliance and labor rights.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate data on contractor strength, attendance, wage register, and statutory payments.
Generate periodic reports on contract labor compliance for internal and external audits.
Digitize and automate contractor management processes using HRIS systems.
