Job Description

As a Senior Executive - Financial Accounting and Control at LSEG, your role will involve handling financial accounting and control services for the subsidiaries of the London Stock Exchange Group. You will play a key part in driving centralised services for operational improvement, building resilience, and collaborating with key stakeholders for onboarding new scope. **Role Responsibilities:** - Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reporting and control activities, maintaining high accuracy and quality in financial data collection, recording, and verification. - Standardize processes, document, and enhance resilience within the team. - Perform journal postings, reconciliations, and Forex revaluation with precision and timeliness. - Uphold adherence to London Stock Exchange Group policies and procedures, implementing accurate financial controls. - Support external audit processes for companies within scope, including liaising with auditors and assisting in addressing their questions and requests. - Facilitate seamless onboarding of additional scope, aligning processes and supporting group projects for new systems and processes implementation. - Collaborate effectively with onshore and cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in financial operations and be a key member of the Finance CoE. **Preferred Skills And Experience:** - Professional accounting degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in General Accounting. - Background in finance shared services is advantageous. - Candidates with part qualification/degree and proven experience will also be considered. - Experience in managing a similar scope is a plus. - Proficiency in SAP/Oracle/Oracle Fusion and Blackline accounting systems. - Strong track record in financial accounting, understanding accounting concepts, working with senior stakeholders, managing cross-geography relationships, and standardizing processes. - Ability to design and operate robust reporting frameworks, build strong working relationships, and communicate effectively.
