Senior Executive - Business Development

As a Senior Executive Business Development at Flex, you will play a crucial role in managing customers, expanding existing business, and driving new business proposals in Sriperumbudur. Your typical day will involve various tasks including: - Managing customer relationships by handling new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts. - Organizing customer meetings, visits to the factory line, and delivering customer presentations. - Providing information about site capabilities and assessing the dollar value of business proposals to make informed decisions. - Evaluating new business proposals and setting minimum benchmarks for Flex. - Collaborating with the Business Development (BD) team globally for all Requests for Quotation (RFQ) related to the Chennai sites. - Working closely with the BD team, technical team, Industrial Engineering (IE) team, and material management team to provide necessary information to the quote manager. - Ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines and approval processes for quotes based on different segments. - Demonstrating strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and understanding related Profit and Loss details. - Proficiency in quote preparation related to manufacturing. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration. - Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Pre-Sales or Customer Management, preferably from an EMS background.
