Senior Executive - Business Development

As a Senior Executive Business Development at Flex, you will play a crucial role in managing customer relationships, expanding existing business, and securing new business opportunities. Your typical day will involve various tasks such as arranging customer meetings, conducting customer visits and factory line visits, preparing and delivering customer presentations, and providing information about site capabilities. You will be responsible for understanding the dollar value of business proposals and making informed decisions on new business opportunities. Additionally, you will liaise with Business Development teams globally for all Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for Chennai sites. Your role will also require close collaboration with the Business Development team, technical team, Industrial Engineering team, and material management team to provide the necessary information to the quote manager. It is essential to work closely with the quote manager until the quote is successfully closed. You will need to have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, profit and loss details, as well as knowledge of quote preparation related to manufacturing. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, a minimum of 5 years of experience in Pre-Sales or Customer Management, preferably from an EMS background.
