Senior Engineering Manager - Sheet Metal, Fabrication Mfg. Industry

We are looking for an Senior Engineering Manager responsible for NPD, NPI, PE, Product Design, Development and implementation of manufacturing processes from sheet metal products etc., This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product introduction, optimizing manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality, providing technical leadership in design and process improvements, and ensuring timely delivery of new products. Additionally, the manager oversees process validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and maintain high standards in a sheet metal manufacturing environment.

Role & responsibilities

* To prepare quotation during RFQ stage
* Work closely with customer & other functional department to ensure smooth transferring of new product until mass production * To maintain the project status, timeline, budget, Bill of Materials (BOM) and Engineering

* Change (ECN) administration ; prepare WI, Control Plan, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP and etc-
* Responsible for Engineering Design and create manufacturing procedures, installation procedures, tools, services process and etc. * Coordinate with manufacturing team to ensure the design of the manufacturing facilities for pilot production; layout and equipment, tools, materials and etc are in place * Research and analyse customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications

* To leads and train engineers in manufacturing processing, customer drawings and

specifications, tooling and gaging approval and quality requirements
* Provide feedback to design engineers on customer problems and needs * Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions * Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of production, including selection of

manufacturing methods, fabrication, and operation of product designs
*To leads and train engineers in manufacturing processing, customer drawings and

specifications, tooling and gaging approval and quality requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Familiar with specifications and requirements for manufacturing that includes having knowledge of laser technology, cutting punching, bending, machining, welding and powder coatings, Capabilities in handling box build product

>Able to process complex sheet metal and machine assemblies

>Able to create operations sheets, routing and generate 2D/3D models, assemblies, and detailed technical drawings for manufacturing purposes.

>Experience in sheet metal, Stamping, fabrication is must Short Notice will be given preference.
