Learn more at www.verve.com. About This Job Are you a developer or cloud engineer with a passion for infrastructure automation, site reliability, or improving developer experience? Verve is looking for you to join our Systems Engineering team and help our engineering teams excel in automation, continuous delivery, infrastructure, monitoring, and operations. We design, build, and deploy highly-available infrastructure solutions, as well as develop software tools that support the mission of Verve’s technology organization. This highly technical, hands-on role requires breadth and depth of expertise in managing infrastructure and applications in the cloud. We are looking for a team player, willing to collaborate in a fast-paced environment, and able to work independently with high self-motivation and total ownership. What You Will Do Be responsible for the development and end-to-end operations of the products owned by your team Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify the right problems to solve Develop tools and frameworks to enable our engineering teams to efficiently build and maintain their services Develop infrastructure products and guide best practices, architecture, and technology choices used by Verve’s technology organizations Support the customers who use your team’s products, participate in on-call, and troubleshoot production incidents What You Will Bring Expertise in managing large-scale cloud native and/or hybrid cloud environments with industry-leading practices Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform products/services Strong experience with Kubernetes foundations Experience developing modern infrastructure using Google Cloud APIs, Terraform, etc. Experience with modern CI/CD practices and tools like Argo-CD and GitHub Actions Experience with monitoring technologies like Grafana, Victoria Logs, and Pagerduty Experience in managing databases. Proficiency in a modern software development language like Python, Go, or Rust, with good quality coding standards.
