Departmental Leadership-Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and objectives. Quality & Compliance Management-
Ensure adherence to quality audits, regulatory requirements, and compliance certifications. New Product Development (NPD) Oversight Manage NPD processes, including qualification and validation activities Process Improvement Identify gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency. Risk Management Assess and mitigate operational risks related to quality, compliance, and timelines Customer Interaction & Support Handle escalations, provide timely responses, and maintain strong customer relationships. Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to achieve project milestones Team Development & Training Mentor and train junior team members to build technical and compliance capabilities Performance Monitoring Track departmental KPIs, analyze performance data, and implement corrective actions Strategic Planning Contribute to long-term departmental goals, resource planning, and capability building.
Quality & Compliance Certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001,Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt),GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) R&D Expertise: Product development lifecycle, Innovation and design validation, Quality Assurance & Control: Statistical process control,Root cause analysis and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
Regulatory Compliance: Industry-specific standards (FDA,BIS, etc.)
Risk Management: FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) Compliance audits
On-Time Project Delivery- Percentage of projects delivered on or before the agreed timeline. Target: 95% Compliance & Quality Audit Success Rate- Number of successful audits and certifications without major non-conformities.Target: 100% compliance NPD & Qualification Process Timeliness, Budget Vs Actual Tracking, Metric: Average cycle time for New Product Development and qualification processes. Customer Response Time Metric: Average time taken to respond to customer queries or escalations.
