Senior Engineer - Quality

Role Overview: As a Quality Operations Operational at Valeo, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality standards are met in the manufacturing and assembly processes. Your role will involve participating in QRQC activities, analyzing issues, updating quality tracking charts, performing audits, eradicating customer and non-quality issues, and ensuring compliance with standards. Additionally, you will be involved in the revision of control plans, verifying process conformance, and representing the customer on quality matters. Key Responsibilities: - Initiate the QRQC in QIM database, participate in containment, and validate the robustness of the containment - Support APU Managers/Site Manager in analyzing assigned issues in QRQC activities - Update APU quality tracking charts including Customer Returns and Cost of Non-Quality - Conduct audits on the line to identify non-respect of standards and collaborate with APU on necessary actions - Participate in resolving customer and non-quality issues - Ensure rules are respected during APU QRQC meetings and enforce necessary actions - Revise control plans after identifying issues - Verify 4M matrix respect for product/process changes and obtain customer approval - Update quality documents post-process related changes - Ensure continuous process conformance to generate products as per specifications - Have the authority to stop manufacturing/assembly line in case of non-compliance with standards or safety risks - Represent customers on quality matters within Valeo - Manage PD, CA, and closure for incidents related to internal suppliers Qualifications Required: - Experience in quality operations or related field - Knowledge of QRQC processes and quality standards - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Understanding of manufacturing processes and control plans Join Valeo and become part of: - One of the largest global innovative companies with a focus on Research & Development - A diverse and multicultural environment promoting international collaboration - Numerous career growth opportunities within a global network of colleagues - A business committed to limiting environmental impact and sustainable development For more information on Valeo, visit: https://www.valeo.com,
