Senior Engineer - Microsoft 365 and Endpoint Management

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Engineer specializing in Microsoft 365 and enterprise endpoint management.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive, hands-on experience with M365 collaboration suite. This role will be responsible for the deployment, and ongoing enhancement of Microsoft 365 solutions, with a focus on optimizing endpoint management through the best industry practices.

Primary functions and essential responsibilities

• Offer comprehensive Microsoft 365 expertise to address business requirements related to the platform.
• Advise partner IT teams and business stakeholders by recommending Microsoft 365 solutions that enhance value, reduce costs, or improve operational efficiency.
• Provide subject matter expertise in endpoint management and mobile device management, supporting engineering initiatives and implementations within this domain.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, and other governance teams within the organization to drive ongoing security enhancements across the collaboration and endpoint space.
• Deliver thought leadership and strategic guidance to the internal IT teams on forward-looking decisions impacting the digital workplace.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Entra, Azure services, and associated with Microsoft technologies to deliver IT services leveraging a cloud-first methodology.
• Apply Agile methodologies by managing tasks through JIRA, engaging in daily stand-ups, and participating in backlog reviews and retrospectives.

Experience Required

• 5+ years of experience with the Microsoft 365 platform, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, PowerApps, and Power Automate
• 5+ years in Solution Engineering
• Well-versed in Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Single Sign-On (SSO)
• Proficient in automation using PowerShell
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online and email security solutions (e.g., Proofpoint, Mimecast) is a plus
• Solid grasp of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• 3+ years as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in enterprise mobile device management (Intune, JAMF, AirWatch) is a plus
• Familiarity with ITIL processes such as Incident and Change Management
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working globally with diverse teams
• Customer-focused, business-oriented, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
• Agile experience preferred
