Senior Engineer - MEG

Role Overview: At Jacobs, you will be responsible for leading a project from the mechanical discipline. Your role will involve managing a team of engineers/designers to ensure successful completion of projects within the scheduled timeline and specified quality. You should have excellent managerial and communication skills, along with a good understanding of project management principles. Strong knowledge in utility systems, material handling, warehousing, and familiarity with other systems and packages will be essential. Additionally, you should possess a good understanding of industrial plants, FMCG, chemicals/specialty chemicals, electric batteries, and solar PV industries. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a project from the mechanical discipline, ensuring successful completion within the set timeline and quality standards - Manage a team of engineers/designers, providing guidance and support throughout the project - Develop micro-schedules for department activities and ensure all necessary inputs are available from other disciplines, clients, and vendors - Control the manhours for projects and maintain continuous communication with the team, clients, vendors, and project management team - Ensure adherence to systems, procedures, and protocols by the team Qualifications Required: - Education: BE- Mechanical (Post-graduation will be an added advantage but not mandatory) - Relevant Experience: 10 to 15 years Additional Company Details: At Jacobs, we value collaboration and believe in the importance of in-person interactions for our culture and client delivery.
