Senior Engineer - Mechanical

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at XS CAD's Global Delivery Centre in Andheri, Mumbai, you will be a part of the MEP Design & Engineering Team, consisting of skilled professionals in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering. Your primary responsibility will be designing and developing HVAC systems, providing technical guidance to the design team, and leading junior engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design phases of HVAC systems, including Concept, Scheme, Design Development, and Tender Design/Documentation. - Ensure that designs adhere to current legislation and codes of practice. - Communicate regularly with clients and manage design responsibilities for various project types like commercial, residential, retail, laboratories & hospitals. - Apply local codes and standards using industry-leading software. - Mentor and support junior engineers in their professional growth. - Engage in direct communication with clients, stakeholders, leaders, and peers in both written and spoken English. - Receive training on the latest mechanical design software. - Travel to clients" offices for detailed training and one-on-one sessions. - Demonstrate flexibility, collaboration, and empathy in your work. - Embrace and implement constructive feedback effectively. Qualification and Experience Required: - BE/BTech/ME/MTech degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field. - Experience in designing HVAC systems for commercial, residential, and retail projects. - Ideally experienced in sustainability-based projects. - Proficiency in IT skills, including Microsoft Office, HVAC cooling load software, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam. - Good understanding of international codes such as ASHRAE and SMACNA. - Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients regularly. - Previous experience with reputable global MEP engineering companies. - Experience working on projects in the UK, Australia, or the Middle East.,
