Job Purpose Defines and leads engineering solutions within a SSE project taskforce, and acts as a technical and technological referent, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures and processes, schedules and man hours, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction. Job Description Review and interpret customer technical specifications and industry codes (DNV / ASME BPV Sec VIII / API RP 2A) Create and review technical documents (functional design specifications, project design basis, analysis reports etc.) for existing or new technology or applications. Preparation of Weight control report, Material take off & Planning BOM (Bill of material) Use sound engineering judgment, classical hand calculations and analysis programs (FEA) to analyze designs and generate new designs. Manage to handle drawings / documents within PLM tools (Team center) Possess good understanding on engineering fundamentals with respect to structural design. Independently develops solutions to problems by analyzing, interpreting and evaluating data. Responsible for quality and on-time-delivery of assigned tasks Coordinates engineering activities on tenders and project execution You Are Meant For This Job If BE or MTech in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 5+ years of relevant industry experience with background in design / analyzing subsea/surface (Offshore) equipment preferred. Ansys / Abaqus tool knowledge Knowledge of industry specific design codes like ASME, API, DNV, NORSK and ISO Knowledge on pressure containment equipment design (Pressure Vessel design) Must be able to verify and substantiate FEA results with classical hand calculation methods. Proficient in Non-Linear analysis Proficient in Static Structural analysis Experience with welded and bolted structure design Must be able to estimate, plan and meet individual work requirements. Should be able to perform technical design reviews and recommend improvements. Must be able to verify and substantiate FEA results with classical hand calculation methods.
