Job Description

The platform will deliver a framework to support multiple programming languages i.e Java, Node.js, Python, Ruby/Rails, Scala and Fuse for enterprise and consumer mobile & web application developers. You will create innovative tools and capabilities to enable continuous delivery - building, provisioning, and administering multi-tenant, scale-out applications throughout the life cycle, from development, test and into production. You will be challenged with identifying innovative ideas and proofs of concept to deliver against the existing and future needs of our customers. As an Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to maintain a robust, efficient, effective, 24x7 service operation for the Private Cloud environment and its tools. We are a start-up, we will wear many hats, work fast and smart, and adapt and iterate quickly. You will work closely with your US and India leaders and peers to deliver a Follow the Sun capability that is best in class in Quality and Capability at a cost-effective price point. Responsibilities: Drive the design of Public Cloud (GCP) adhering to Enterprise Cloud strategy. Drive design and delivery of cloud services by integrating with enterprise toolset Performs hands-on architecture, design and development of systems specifically as it pertains to Google public cloud offering, with Hashi Terraform and Sentinel. Perform hands-on evaluations before we scale up the adoption of cloud platforms/tools to high-risk apps Define and translate vision into actionable plans; ability to see the big picture You won t just keep up, you ll break new ground. Here s just some of what you ll be doing: Using cutting-edge technologies to implement a hybrid cloud platform as a service. Understand the current implementation of the cloud platform and look for improvements to the platform and dependencies. Work with Product Owners to understand upcoming features and ensure proper design. Minimum Qualifications: Are you up for the challenge? Bachelors or master s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience 5+ years of experience in leading GCP Cloud technologies and infrastructure design and implementation for highly available and scalable enterprise grade platforms and applications 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure automation tools, Terraform preferred, with a focus on immutable infrastructure. 5+ years of software development experience in one of OO programming language: Java, Python, Go 3+ Years of Experience with Container & Orchestration Technologies such as Docker, or Kubernetes Understanding of good cloud architecture to ensure high availability while ensuring the highest level of security and visibility. Understanding of Cloud Networking concepts, and Traffic Flow Management Experience with public cloud Observability capabilities.
