Job Description

As a mechatronics/electronics engineer, you play a crucial role in developing and implementing electro-mechanical systems for avionics and other electronic systems in aerospace projects. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you ensure the successful integration of electronic components with mechanical systems into UAS. This position presents a unique opportunity to work on challenging projects at the forefront of aerospace technology. Your key responsibilities include spearheading complex electronics system design, analysis, and integration. You must have a profound understanding of electronics engineering principles and proficiency in mechanical engineering to design state-of-the-art solutions for challenging applications. In the realm of design and development, you are accountable for designing and developing high-precision electro-mechanical systems. This involves defining selection criteria for key electronics and mechanical components, testing and validating them for use in different sub-systems, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate embedded systems with mechanical systems seamlessly, and developing comprehensive testing and verification strategies to ensure robustness and integrity throughout the development lifecycle. Your role also involves identifying and mitigating risks associated with embedded software development and mechanical systems, with a focus on designing electro-mechanical/robotic systems using strong technical fundamentals. Proficiency in designing electronic circuits and embedded system circuits using microcontrollers, reviewing and modifying circuits, wiring, and PCB layouts, and knowledge in Embedded C/C++ are essential. Additionally, you will work to implement best practices within the team, following world-class safety standards and engineering solutions" highest robustness and value addition. Establishing practices to deliver designs that are high performance, reliable, scalable to manufacture, easy to maintain, and reusable is a key aspect of your role. To excel in this position, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, or Aeronautical (Avionics). Strong electro-mechanical design instincts, hands-on expertise in housing electronic and circuit assembly, working knowledge of parametric modeling CAD software, and familiarity with GD&T and tolerance stack-up are necessary. Additionally, a deep appreciation for technology evolution, modern engineering practices, and experience in high-quality product development processes are beneficial.
