Looking for Siemens EDA ambassadors specializing in PowerPro PV/CAE for Power Estimation/Optimization. This dynamic position is instrumental in expanding Siemens's EDA business footprint in India. Position: Senior/Lead PowerPro Product Engineer for Power Optimization/Power Estimation Location: Noida, India Experience: 8-10 years About the group: Join the Calypto System Design Central Engineering Group (CEG) where cutting-edge tools like PowerPro and Catapult are developed. The Product Validation and Customer Support team within CEG is dedicated to delivering high-quality products and ensuring customer satisfaction in the High-Level Synthesis market. PowerPro, a premier RTL sequential power optimization and analysis tool, is at the forefront of our innovative endeavors. We are a team fueled by energy, synergy, and passion. Role Responsibility /Requirement: Educational Qualification: - B.Tech (EE/ECE) or M.Tech (VLSI/Microelectronics) Job Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with the Product Validation and Customer Support team to validate and educate on PowerPro features. - Validate all features as an internal end-user of the tool, report issues, develop test plans, and write test cases to enhance product quality. - Engage in architecture reviews, feature prototyping, and support field teams in optimizing customer design flows. - Analyze customer-reported bugs, enhance testing strategies, and provide technical support to customers, including field application assistance on critical issues. - Implement diverse methodologies for customer scenarios and deliver script-based solutions for efficient problem resolution. Technical Skills (Must have): - Proficiency in ASIC design flows, Verification, Digital Logic, Synthesis, RTL to GDS flow, and HDL Languages (Verilog/VHDL/SV). - Strong understanding of low-power SOC design principles and adept debugging skills. - Experience with various product classes such as simulation, synthesis, Place & Route, etc. Excellent problem-solving and debugging capability is essential. Technical Skills (Good to have): - Familiarity with Low Power concepts, RTL/Gate Simulation, Emulation, SPEF, and different tech nodes. - Knowledge of scripting languages like Perl, Tcl, and Python (preferred), along with various tools such as DC, Fusion compiler, RTL Architect, Prime Power, Prime time, Zebu, joules, Gate sign-off tools, etc. Soft Skills: - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. - Self-driven, motivated, and an effective team player. - Quick learner with a strong work ethic, dedication, and commitment.
