Job Description

As a Project Engineer at Emerson, you will play a vital role in managing techno-commercial projects and proposals specifically for Rosemount Tank Gauging instrumentation. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing support to Emerson Sales Offices to ensure efficient and effective Project Execution for Rosemount Tank Gauging business - Preparing post order documentation, such as screening customer POs, resolving customer comments, and ensuring timely submission - Submission of project documentation to customers/EPC/End-user/Purchaser and obtaining manufacturing approval - Attending internal project execution meetings to align with customer requirements - Collaborating with the SCM Team to coordinate buyouts specifications and quotes/POs - Ensuring project schedule preparation and adherence - Compiling and submitting As-Build documentation - Keeping track of key project metrics - Developing Techno-commercial proposals for inquiries/RFQs related to Rosemount Tank Gauging Systems - Providing technical support for Rosemount Tank gauging products pre-sales and post-sales - Selecting suitable instruments and detailing specifications as per RFQ - Designing instrumentation solutions/systems based on applications - Preparing Buyouts specifications and coordinating with the SCM Team for quotes - Maintaining a log of key metrics for proposals To excel in this role, you should possess: - 1-4 years of experience in core instrumentation within Process Industry, EPC Companies, or OEM companies - Clear understanding of different Level instruments, Pressure and Temperature instruments, and familiarity with Tank Gauging Systems - Proficiency in installation and calibration of instruments, Instrument Data Sheets, P&ID and Specifications, International Standards, Hazardous Areas, Flammable Areas, Ingress Protection Codes, SIL Ratings, Wiring, and Looping - Ability to utilize MS Office applications like Word, Excel, and Power Point, with familiarity in CAD and MS Projects - Knowledge of documentation related to post-order activities Preferred Qualifications: - BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering from a reputed institute; candidates with Post-Graduation (ME, M Tech) in Instrumentation Engineering may also apply Emerson values a workplace culture that promotes innovation, collaboration, and diverse perspectives.
