Senior Engineer (Go/Typescript + AWS)

.As a Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building scalable, high-performance payment and banking platforms used by tens of thousands of businesses. You will design and implement robust, cloud-native systems, integrating products and services using Go, Typescript, and AWS. This role offers the opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of features, influence architecture decisions, and drive quality standards across the platform. You will collaborate closely with product teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions that are reliable, performant, and customer-focused. Accountabilities:
- Develop, maintain, and deploy high-quality software components using Go, Typescript, and AWS services
- Build integrations between internal and third-party products using web sockets and cloud-native architectures
- Ensure end-to-end ownership of features, from design through testing, deployment, and performance monitoring
- Conduct code reviews, enforce quality standards, and promote testing and automation practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
- Contribute to architecture and system design discussions, including microservices, serverless, and event-driven patterns
- Support and improve platform performance, reliability, and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Go, Typescript, and AWS cloud-native architectures
- Proven experience in product-driven engineering teams delivering complex software products
- Strong understanding of cloud services (e.g., Lambda, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, EventBridge, API Gateway)
- Familiarity with architecture patterns such as microservices, serverless, event-driven design, and CQRS
- Experience with code quality, testing practices, and automation culture
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge or experience in payments or banking systems is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
