Senior Engineer – Fire Protection Systems (FPS)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex fire protection systems for diverse building types across geographies, with emphasis on UK and Middle East projects.
• Champion digital-first, BIM-driven methodologies, integrating seamless engineering analysis with design execution.
• Apply advanced FPS engineering expertise to deliver high-performance, precise, and predictive systems aligned with the NextGen philosophy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring integrated and coordinated MEP system designs.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and a culture of innovation.
• Act as a thought leader, promoting Pinnacle’s design capabilities to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with international standards, codes, and sustainable practices.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree (or higher) in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in fire protection system design and delivery.
• Proven experience across multiple complex building types (commercial, healthcare, high-rise, mixed-use, etc.).
• Demonstrated track record of working on projects across different geographies; UK and Middle East experience strongly preferred.
• Recognized Professional Engineer status (PE, CEng, or equivalent), with memberships in relevant international institutions (e.g., NFPA, IFE, SFPE, CIBSE).
• Strong understanding of digital design delivery tools, BIM processes, and emerging AI-driven workflows.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills; proven ability to inspire teams and engage stakeholders.
• Strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
