About this opportunity:The Network Engineer performs design, optimization and audit of a network to meet the customer requirements. The role is focused on executing design, audit and optimization services, where the network engineer is responsible for part of the solution and part of the service process. The Network Engineer is responsible to upkeep time, performance and quality according to Ericsson requirements and Customer contract.What you will do:
- Accountable for day-to-day delivery of the assigned project towards the MA.
- Customer facing role
- Analyzing & troubleshooting different network related issues
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders for delivery execution
- Excellent communication skills
- Troubleshoots network problems and implements corrective action
- Responsible for Design, Deployment/configuration, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and workaround / solution definition activities for the assigned project.
- Ensure all project KPI(s) are met as per agreed targets/SLA’s.
- Support for field tests as required for new features and/or HW.
The skills you bring:
- 5-7 years industry experience with excellent exposure on Design, Planning, Deployment & Troubleshooting in IP networks / MPBN Backbone on Telecom / ISP based networks.
- Extensive hands-on experience on IP routing protocols / technologies L2/L3 IP/MPLS VPNs, VPLS & EVPN, IGPs (All) on Cisco & Juniper routers.
- Excellent understanding & experience on Routing Protocols like OSPF, BGP, IS- IS, MPLS, Traffic Engineering, QoS (Quality of Service) in IP networks.
- Good hands-on experience in Configuration of IP Networks (Routing/Switching) – Cisco, Juniper, Ericsson Network / Security Devices.
- Good hands-on experience in Troubleshooting of IP Networks – Network related issues.
- Should have hands-on experience with Cisco, Ericsson & Juniper IP products.
- Prepares High-level design / Low-level design (HLD/LLD) independently.
- IP Professional Certifications (CCNP / Cisco Encore) on Cisco/ Juniper (JNCIP) is required.
- Good understanding of Segment routing.
- Strong Technical and Communications skills with excellent conceptual knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Open to work for a Global operator with rotational night shifts.
- Excellent communication skills
- Subject matter expertise on operator network and understanding.
- Successful track record and strong background in large-scale network operational organizations.
- Excellent customer handling skills.
- Ability to learn the working of new nodes which are added in the network.
- Experience on automation & scripting would be a plus.
- Ability to guide and support other engineers
- Professional IP Certification. (CCNP, JNCIP)
