Senior Engineer-Design

As a Senior Design Engineer at the global leader in the plastics industry, Mold-Masters, your role involves: - Following the work list in order of priority assigned by the Engineering Lead - Creating CAD models, layouts, and drawings efficiently and accurately - Generating General assembly drawings and/or manufacturing drawings - Entering BOM in the business system and processing orders - Completing manufacturing change requests and distributing Engineering Change Requests - Ensuring ISO guidelines are followed and performing tolerance analysis on designs - Documenting design data, operational characteristics, and user instructions - Designing new products to support the product plan and participating in process improvement - Providing guidance and training to other Designers when required - Investigating, analyzing, and resolving system problems - Making recommendations for productivity and method improvements Qualifications for this role include: - Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering - 4 to 6 years of experience as a designer of high production injection molds or equivalent - Proficiency in 2D/3D in Creo (Windchill Platform) - Experience in working with injection molding and Engineering plastic properties - Strong knowledge in MFG technology and GDNT The company, Mold-Masters, is a global leader in designing, manufacturing, and distributing highly engineered plastic processing equipment and systems.
