Senior Engineer-Design

As a Senior Design Engineer at Mold-Masters, your role involves following the work list to priority assigned by the Engineering Lead. Your responsibilities include: - Creating CAD models, layouts, and drawings efficiently and on time - Generating General assembly drawings and/or manufacturing drawings accurately - Entering BOM in the business system by following Business Process Procedures - Completing manufacturing change requests to design standards - Ensuring ISO guidelines are followed - Performing tolerance analysis on designs - Documenting design data, operational characteristics, and user instructions - Designing new products to support the product plan - Participating in process improvement within areas of responsibility - Providing guidance and/or training to other Designers - Investigating, analyzing, and resolving system problems - Making recommendations for productivity and/or method improvements - Assisting with the verification of application system quality - Providing work training and direction to other Team Members Qualifications required for this role: - Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering - 4 to 6 years of experience as a designer of high production injection molds - Proficiency in 2D/3D in Creo (Windchill Platform) - Experience in injection molding and design for manufacturing - Strong knowledge in MFG technology and GD&T Mold-Masters is a global leader in the plastics industry, designing, manufacturing, distributing, selling, and servicing highly engineered and customized plastic processing equipment and systems.
