Role & responsibilities

  • Sales

    and Business Development:

  1. Identify and generate new business opportunities within the assigned territory or vertical.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including end-users, contractors, consultants, and distributors.
  3. Promote the company's valve products and services to clients through technical presentations, product demonstrations, and visits.
  4. Prepare and deliver technical proposals, bids, and quotations to clients, ensuring alignment with their requirements and project specifications.
  5. Negotiate pricing and terms to close sales effectively and profitably.
  • Technical

    Expertise & Consultation:

  1. Provide technical support and solutions to customers regarding valve products and their applications.
  2. Conduct detailed product presentations and training sessions for clients, highlighting the advantages of the companys valve technologies.
  3. Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure product customization or modifications meet specific customer needs.
  4. Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to valve products and provide timely solutions.
  • Market

    and Product Knowledge:

  1. Stay updated on market trends, competitor products, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and threats.
  2. Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams regarding customer preferences, emerging market trends and industry challenges.
  • Project

    Management:

  1. Follow up on project progress and delivery timelines with customers to ensure satisfaction and the smooth execution of orders.
  2. Coordinate with internal departments such as production, quality control, and logistics to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Reporting

    and Documentation:

  1. Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management through the CRM system.
  2. Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and progress updates to the Sales Manager or Director.
  • After-Sales Support:

  1. Provide after-sales support by addressing customer concerns, handling warranty claims, and coordinating technical services, if required.
  2. Work with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction with product performance

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong technical knowledge of valve products, control systems, and fluid dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and internal teams.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, close sales, and achieve sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-focused approach.
