Senior Duck Creek Developer

.Are you an experienced Duck Creek developer passionate about building scalable, high-impact insurance technology solutions? In this role, you will contribute to the implementation of policy and claims systems for P&C insurance clients, working across tools like Duck Creek Author, Express 2.0/3.0, and manuscript configuration. You'll collaborate with technical teams and business analysts to build customized, high-quality applications that solve real-world insurance challenges. Accountabilities:
- Design, configure, and develop solutions using Duck Creek technologies, focusing on Policy and Claims modules
- Work hands-on with Duck Creek Author, Express 2.0/3.0, and manuscript management tools to customize insurance products
- Build and manage templates, inheritance models, and product configuration structures
- Collaborate closely with solution architects and business analysts to translate client needs into scalable technical implementations
- Work across multiple Lines of Business including Commercial Auto, Workers' Compensation, BOP, General Liability, and Property
- Participate in technical design sessions, code reviews, and performance tuning
- Support API-based integrations and Duck Creek batch framework processing
- Adhere to and improve best practices around documentation, development, and deployment processes
Requirements
- 4 to 8 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance technology
- At least 2 years of direct experience developing Duck Creek Policy or Claims modules
- Strong proficiency in Duck Creek Author, Express 2.0/3.0, and manuscript configuration
- In-depth knowledge of templates, inheritance, and product configuration in Duck Creek
- Experience with multiple P&C insurance LOBs such as Commercial Auto, Workers' Comp, BOP, General Liability, and Property
- Technical skills in C#, XML, JSON, and Duck Creek-specific plug-ins and data structures
- Experience with API integrations and batch framework processing
