Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced (5 to 7 years) and highly skilled .NET Developer with a strong background in ASP.NET, C#, and MS SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise-level web applications. You will also be required to manage some legacy Visual Basic code and work with Azure cloud services for application deployment and maintenance.

Note: Only candidates with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET and C#.
Work with and maintain existing Visual Basic (VB) codebases.
Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database structures.
Implement cloud-based solutions and manage deployments on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, UI/UX, and DevOps to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve performance and reliability.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5–7 years of hands-on experience in software development using ASP.NET and C#.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
Experience maintaining and enhancing legacy VB.NET / Visual Basic applications.
Proficiency in MS SQL Server, including database design, performance tuning, and query optimization.
Working knowledge of Azure Cloud Services (App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, etc.).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and front-end integration.
Experience with source control tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, TFS).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
