Senior Design Engineer

Role &

• Product Design & Development:

  Lead the design of new valves, fittings, and tube components using 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks), from concept and prototyping to final production release.

• Engineering Analysis:

  Perform advanced simulations, including

  Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

  to validate structural integrity under pressure and

  Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

  to optimize flow paths and minimize pressure drop.

• Manufacturing & Drawings:

  Create and review detailed 2D manufacturing drawings, ensuring rigorous application of

  Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

  .

• Design for Manufacturability (DFM):

  Actively collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure all designs are cost-effective, efficient to machine, forge, and assemble.

• Project Management:

  Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, defining project scope, creating timelines, and coordinating with cross-functional teams (Sales, Manufacturing, Quality) to meet deadlines.

• Technical Leadership & Mentorship:

  Serve as the team's technical expert. Review and approve the work of junior engineers, providing guidance, training, and support.

• Root Cause Analysis:

  Lead investigations into product failures or manufacturing issues. Identify root causes and implement robust, permanent design solutions.

• Standards & Compliance:

  Ensure all designs meet or exceed rigorous industry standards, such as

  ASME

  (B31.3, B16.34),

  API

  (6D), and ISO.

  responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

• imulation:

  Direct experience using FEA and/or CFD software (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation).

• Industry Knowledge:

  Deep familiarity with ASME B16.5, B16.34, B31.3, and/or API 6D standards.

• Manufacturing Processes:

  Hands-on experience with machining (CNC), forging, and casting processes.

• Education:

  Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Certification:

  Professional Engineering (PE) license.
