Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Design Engineer with strong expertise in sheet

metal design and fabrication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality

designs, collaborating with multiple departments, and ensuring deliverables meet both client

expectations and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Education:

  B.E. / M.E. in Mechanical Engineering

• Design Tools:

  Proficient in SolidWorks & AutoCAD

• Core Expertise:

  Sheet metal fabrication, materials, and manufacturing principles

• ERP Knowledge:

  Good working knowledge of ERP System

• Soft Skills

  : Strong communication & collaboration abilities

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Design and develop sheet metal components as per project requirements.
• Create and review 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks & AutoCAD.
• Interpret client specifications and provide timely project updates.
• Select suitable materials and ensure all designs are fabrication-ready.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure material availability.
• Work closely with production teams to optimize manufacturability and reduce lead times.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Initiate and review Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) in ERP to enhance product designs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and quality requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives.
