We work closely with leading international ship-owners, shipyards, classification societies and governmental authorities (both civil and naval) and have a track record of delivering first class service to our clients. We have a proud track record since 2007 of delivering designs from Concept to Completion stage with a diverse portfolio of Commercial Vessels, Passenger cum cargo vessels, Defence vessels, inland ferries and Patrol vessels About the Role and Responsibiliti es Ability to prepare / guide to prepare basic and detailed machinery system design Ability to prepare machinery & HVAC calculations Experience in designing propulsion system, machinery space layouts, etc Capability to understand specifications Co-ordination / communication with Vendor and Shipyard Review of maker data Quick response and solution to technical errors Knowledge about Naval rules and standards Knowledge of Classification society and statutory rules Able to work with minimal supervision Guiding junior team members Review of drawings Qualification B.Tech, Mechanical with 08 to 15 years Software proficiency Auto Cad, 3D modelling software,Cadmatic What SEDS offers Varied portfolio of contracted designs from Bulk Carriers to FPVs to Passenger vessels to Navy Combatant vessels Highly cohesive and passionate team Respectful and diverse workplace environment A management supportive to initiatives and new ideas Potential to grow within the company Work from home - as per prevalent HR policy on a case-by-case basis Attractive remuneration package
