Karr Valves Pvt Ltd is a rapidly growing manufacturer of high-performance valves for the oil, gas, and energy sectors. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Design Engineer to drive innovation and technical excellence in our specialized valve product lines.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Design Engineer will be a technical leader responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through final production:

• Design Leadership: Lead the design, development, and engineering of high-pressure/high-temperature valves, focusing on complex designs like Triple Offset Butterfly Valves and Dual Plate Check Valves.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure all design work strictly adheres to relevant API specifications and other industry design standards (ASME, B31.3, NACE, etc.).
• Technical Support: Provide hands-on support and mentorship to the junior design team members, helping them troubleshoot complex engineering problems and improve their technical skills.
• Product Expertise: Maintain and expand design knowledge across various valve types (e.g., Ball, Gate, Globe) to support the overall product portfolio.
• Collaboration: Function as a team player, working effectively with Quality, Production, and Sales departments to ensure manufacturability and product performance.

Essential Technical Qualifications (The Core Expertise)

We require a candidate with proven, specific experience in high-performance valve design:

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience dedicated to design and development within the valve manufacturing industry.
• Specialized Expertise: Demonstrated experience in the complete Design & Development of Triple Offset Butterfly Valves (TOBV) up to Class 2500 pressure ratings.
• Dual Plate Expertise: Demonstrated experience in the complete Design & Development of Dual Plate Check Valves with Metal-to-Metal seating arrangements, up to Class 2500 pressure ratings.
• Design Standards: Hands-on, working knowledge and proven application of various design standards (e.g., API 609, API 594, ASME B16.34, API 6D, API 6A).
• API Compliance: Expertise in applying API specifications and guidelines directly to valve design and material selection.
