Senior Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop automation solutions, including conceptualizing, designing, and prototyping automated systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, robotics, and IoT to create seamless automation solutions.
• Analyses existing workflows and implement automation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare detailed designs, schematics, technical specifications, and user manuals for automation projects.
• Conduct system testing, debugging, and performance validation to ensure reliability.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and IT teams to implement automation projects effectively.
• Ensure all automation systems meet industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies and smart manufacturing.
• Experience in machine learning.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other relevant design tools.
• Knowledge of SPM (Special purpose machine) & material selection.
• Knowledge of GD&T and in depth understanding of manufacturing processes.
• In-depth knowledge of PLC-based automation systems, including scope of programming and integration.
• Understanding of industrial sensors, actuators, and control systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience of 3 to 6 years in design or engineering department of a manufacturing company, preferably in the automation industry.
