Senior Design Engineer

LTTS India Chennai Job Description Eligibility Criteria  Must have Bachelors/Master's Degree in Mechanical/Structural Engineering  At least 6 years of experience in design & development preferably in Wind or Heavy Industry.  Minimum 4 years of experience(latest) in PTC Creo and Windchill PDM.  Excellent knowledge on Engineering change management(ECM) process in Windchill  Basic knowledge on operation, power and service tools(Preferably lifting tools)  Knowledge on TCM (Transport/Construction/Maintenance) is Preferred Job Responsibilities  Understand new heavy lifting tools uses in Wind Industry  Prepare good presentation on various issues to present stakeholders  Effectively communicate issues with counterpart engineers  Frequent follow ups to track the progress  Deliver design changes/documentation updates effectively.  Capable of handling on multiple issue at the same time Competencies required  Quickly pick up on the array of software tools and processes.  Have a solid understanding of mechanical systems.  Model new and change existing CAD models  Excellent verbal and written communication in English.  Proactively address issues by independently seeking and implementing solutions.  Basic knowledge on applications of general tools used for transport and construction of Heavy products.  Good interpretation of 2D drawings.  Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing(GD&T)  Working experience on ISO & DIN standards.
