About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL, and Spark SQL. The role involves designing and building scalable data pipelines, optimizing big data processing, and ensuring high-quality data delivery for analytics and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark and SQL.
Work with large datasets to perform data ingestion, transformation, and optimization.
Develop and optimize complex SQL and Spark SQL queries for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across platforms.
Perform performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of big data jobs.
Stay updated with the latest technologies in data engineering and cloud platforms.
Required Skills
8–10 years of proven experience in Data Engineering.
Strong hands-on expertise in Python and PySpark.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Spark SQL.
Experience with large-scale distributed data processing systems.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and pipeline orchestration.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of data lake and data warehouse architectures.
Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Azure Data Factory, etc.).
Exposure to CI/CD practices for data engineering workflows.
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: ₹190,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
